This concert brings to you the rich tradition of Sitar music by Dr. Chandrakant who learnt Sitar from Pandit Ravi Shankar and Mrs. Annpurnadevi since age of 8. He lives in Japan and travels globally to give various concerts, lecture demonstration and Healing Music Sessions. Please read here more about him.
There will be a Bansuri performance by Mr. Taro Terahara who learnt from Pandit Hariprasad Chourasia before and now with Mr. Amit Roy (Sitar Player).
Sitar and Bansuri performance will be accompanied on Tabla by Mr. Uko Segawa. He learnt from Pt. Shankar Ghosh.

There will be a joint (jugalbandi) performance of all three artists in the last part of the concert.
This event is organized by Darshanam and supported by Indian Embassy and Shinagawa Board of Education.
